Absolutely. A consultation also helps with prevention, optimizing your skincare routine, and maintaining long-term skin health.

How do I know if my acne needs medical treatment?

If acne persists over time, leaves marks, or does not respond to usual dermocosmetic products, a dermatology consultation is recommended for prompt evaluation, timely treatment, and prevention of post-acne scars.

Will I receive treatment from the first visit?

In many cases, yes. After evaluating your skin and medical history, a personalized treatment plan can usually start immediately.

Should I stop using my current skincare products before the visit?
